Top Reasons to Visit Los Cabos for your Spring Vacation

Thinking about visiting Los Cabos? Los Cabos is a multi-city destination that has something for all types of travelers. Here are the top reasons why this special destination should be your next vacation destination this spring.

1) Beaches
The tip of the Baja Sur Peninsula where Los Cabos is located spans coastline on both the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez. The Pacific Ocean beaches are deep blue waters with wild and unpredictable waves while the Sea of Cortez offers tranquil blue-green bays and 19 Blue Flag certified beaches. Playa Chileno, Palmilla, and Santa Maria are said to be some of prettiest beaches in the world.

2) Cabo San Lucas
Cabo San Lucas is the main hub for travelers. Not only do cruise ships arrive to port here, but it also is home to the most famous landmark “El Arco” which is a unique rock formation that marks where the Sea of Cortez and Pacific Ocean meet. During the day, the marina is bustling with fishing tours and snorkeling boats floating out, and at night the city exuberates with nightlife, music, and entertainment.

3) San Jose del Cabo
San Jose del Cabo is a traditional Mexican town with a rich history dating back to the 1700’s. The main plaza offers colonial charm and a laid-back community vibe, completely contrasting Cabo San Lucas. The historic district comes to life on Thursday evenings with colorful photo displays, open art galleries, and unique Mexican fashion boutiques.

4) The Corridor
Between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, there is a 20-mile stretch of coastline called “the corridor” where you will find not only some of Baja’s most beautiful beaches but also some of the country’s best and most luxurious hotels. So whether you’re looking to pitch a tent in a hidden cove along the Sea of Cortez, or prefer a sumptuous suite at a leading hotel, the corridor is where you’ll find home away from home.

5) Wildlife and Adventure
From breathtaking seas to desert and mountains, Los Cabos has rich biodiversity and thrilling ways to discover it.  In the water, snorkel with the sea life in Chileno Bay, scuba dive with sharks and manatrays in the East Cape, or kayak among the sea lions. On land, cruise through the rugged terrain on 4×4 ATV, zipline above the cacti desert to spot foxes and jackrabbits, or ride a camel along the shore to witness whales breaching.

  1. I was looking for articles about Cabo boats actually but couldn’t stop reading your posts. I think it’s a sign to visit Los Cabos when the pandemic is over.
